Pint of Science Festival is a three-day international event in May (15th-17th) where academics are invited to give a casual talk about their work in a pub/cafe/bar somewhere around Bristol.  The idea is to show and tell you about what is being researched at the University of Bristol and UWE without all the scientific jargon.  The festival happens simultaneously at multiple venues in the city, each one for different areas of science, in different parts of the UK and the rest of the world!

The Planet Earth theme gives you a brief glimpse at some of the wondrous research into things happening on our planet - from the power under the surface to feathered dinosaurs and how we can model natural hazards to the efforts we can make to sustain our planet.

Now a well established event here in Bristol, tickets are guaranteed to sell out so get yours quick! Tickets will be on sale in April.
