Phwoar! Getting a bit chilly isn’t it!  A mini Indian summer may well be just around the corner (may…) but you can’t deny that autumn and all that wet stuff will definitely be on the way soon.

Well, well, well; what a great 3 months we’ve had at RftS Towers and since opening on Monday July 1st; we’ve served umpteem numbers of cakes and coffee, we’ve filled bellies with Soul Burgers, Khobez Wraps and our enourmous Mezze Platter, and we’ve had a fully booked workshop day in day out servicing everything from about-town beaters to full Dura Ace Di2 equipped road machines; you can’t say we don’t have a broad range of bikes we can and will work on!

In case you’ve somehow missed it, the RftS workshop is situated upstairs and therein dwells a hairy bearded man and a small crew of occasional co-workers. Despite this man’s at-times outwardly curmudgeonly appearance, he wants nothing more than to help get you and your machine back on the road and that’s exactly what we’ve been doing!

That’s right, we’re nearly there! The fit-out crew are working their little hearts out, Rob’s as stressed as a high-tension radially-spoked aero wheel, the espresso machine is installed and keeping us all deliciously caffeinated… and the workstands have arrived!

It wouldn’t be a bike cafe without a workshop. This is the bit of RftS that helps us to get people riding and keep people riding. And hopefully it’ll be fun to watch a bit of spannering while you’re enjoying your coffee and cake.
